Membership


There are three types of membership available at Winton Tennis Club for the 2022 – 2023 season.

 

Adult Membership – £94 per year

  • Available to members aged 18 and over.
  • Includes Tennis In The Park membership which gives free use of the tennis courts all year for your own matches, booked using the Clubspark mobile app or the Clubspark website, accessed via the link on this page.
  • 2 playing sessions per week, Wednesday evenings and Saturday midday.
  • Enter the club singles and doubles tournaments.
  • Play singles matches all year round in the box league.
  • Opportunity to play for the club in league matches.
  • Entry into the Wimbledon ballot providing you are a member of British Tennis (which is free to all members).

The Tennis In The Park (TITP) membership is supplied by the West Hants Club to cover a whole family. Therefore if 2 family members both join the club they may use the same TITP membership, and the Winton Tennis Club membership cost for the 2nd family member will be reduced by the cost of the TITP membership, currently £42, a total of £146 for both members.

 

Student membership – £30 per year

  • Available to students in full time education.
  • 2 playing sessions per week, Wednesday evenings and Saturday midday.
  • Enter the club singles and doubles tournaments.
  • Play singles matches all year round in the box league.
  • Opportunity to play for the club in league matches.
  • Entry into the Wimbledon ballot providing you are a member of British Tennis (which is free to all members).
  • The Tennis In The Park membership is not included in this type of membership, but can be purchased separately from the West Hants Tennis Club if the member wishes to have free use of the tennis courts all year for their own matches.

 

Junior membership – £30 per year

    • Available to members under 18 years old.
    • Although the club doesn’t currently offer any junior coaching or playing sessions, all junior members are able to take part in any of the adult club activities listed above if they are able to play to a satisfactory standard.
  • The Tennis In The Park membership is not included in this type of membership, but can be purchased separately from the West Hants Tennis Club if the member wishes to have free use of the tennis courts all year for their own matches.

To become a member you will need to complete a membership form for the club, and for full membership you will also need to complete a form for the Tennis In The Park scheme, unless you’re already a TITP member. Both forms should be returned to Michael Kennedy at the club or at the address on the Winton membership form, and both forms can be downloaded below.
